Frequently Asked Questions
What are Riviera's resale restrictions?
Riviera is a restricted resort. If you buy a resale contract, you can ONLY book rooms at Riviera Resort — you cannot use those points at any other DVC resort. You also cannot access Interval International exchanges. These restrictions make Riviera resale much cheaper per point but limit flexibility.
Is Riviera resale still worth buying?
If you love Riviera and plan to vacation there every year, the low resale price and long 2070 expiration make it an excellent value. You lose the ability to book other resorts, but the savings can be 50%+ versus buying direct.
When does Riviera expire?
Riviera contracts expire January 31, 2070 — the longest remaining term at any WDW resort.
